Movie Posters 

The Possession - As we can see this poster was very effective and got a lot of attention from itself for the movie. They have used the picture of the women very effectively successfully, they have put it very central to prove that it is very key and important. They also have a hand coming out of her mouth illustrating that someone is inside of her, controlling or 'possessing' her. The font in this is also used very well and links back to the sub-genre that we've chosen(possession). They have also put in a caption from the movie being 'Darkness lives inside'. The colouring of the poster has illustrated the dark side of it by using very dark colours which I think we should take into account when making our movie poster. However it has clearly highlighted the date that it was coming out.
