'Crazy' by Gnarls Barkley - analysis

I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost my mind(losing my mind could be related back to a mental illness as this a strong stereotype)
There was something so pleasant about that place.(we are inferring from this that the metnal state people can be in when having a mental illness is almost to hide the other terror in their life)
Even your emotions had an echo
In so much space (so much space to think about having a mental illness and also this could relate to it having quite a variety) 

And when you're out there
Without care,(without caring as in they had no recollection of thought process etc.)
Yeah, I was out of touch (as in no one could help with the mental state he was in)
But it wasn't because I didn't know enough
I just knew too much

Does that make me crazy?

Does that make me crazy?(crazy is the inappropriate term for mental illness)
Possibly(he is coming to the realisation)

And I hope that you are having the time of your life (don't let stuff you think is making you happy get in the way of your health)
